Pat is set to perform his first UK concert at the Theatre Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham with English singer and actress Jane McDonald. McDonald rose to fame as a media personality and broadcaster after her appearance on the BBC show The Cruise. She has since co-presented a number of daytime shows, including Loose Women between 2004 and 2014 and ITV programme Star Treatment in 2013. This fabulous venue holds up to 2000 people and is set to be a magical night.
Wonderful NIght at the Nottingham Theatre
Pat performed a wonderful concert on Saturday night to a 1200 plus audience at The Royal Theatre Nottingham. It proved a very successful first visit for Pat to UK shores where he as a guest of the celebrated artist Jane McDonald. Pat commented afterwards: 'It was a great moment for me and great opportunity to introduce my music on a UK stage. Fabulous venue and fabulous time all round...'
Pat on RTE's John Murray Show
Pat was recently invited onto RTE's John Murray Show. Pat commented: 'What a fantastic morning i had in RTE. Wonderful to be invited on to the John Murray Show, talk and play live, 2 of my own compositions. Pat Signs New Publishing Deal
News just in from World Music Publishers Doberman Yppan. Two of Pat's' compositions, The Lament and a collection of short pieces for Guitar titled The Boyne Suite (inspired by the Boyne River) are now available in glossy hardback from their website. This publishing deal marks another milestone for Pat and speaking earlier with patcoldrick.com he commented that he was 'very proud of this recent move' and is delighted to have sheet music of these compositions available to fans and other players. Marti Pellow records with Pat
Marti Pellow, Scottish lead singer of the legendary pop group 'Wet Wet Wet' recently contacted Pat's management to invite him to record on Marti's new album. It was an exciting day at the studio as Pat recounted: "I was convinced during the week that someone had got the wrong telephone number!! But no, it was my good self they were looking for !! What a thrill and honour to be invited to play on Marti Pellow's new album yesterday in Windmill Lane Studios. The session went fabulously well and we had a lot of fun. An absolute gent to work with and a voice of an angel, truly wonderful musician who is also passionate about the connection and simplicity in music. You can imagine we had lots to share and talk about which we did and have to say one of the nicest people in the buisness. Special thanks to producer Grant Mitchell, Paul Campbell music arranger, Brian Masterson who engineered and all at Windmill Lane who did absolutley everything to make the session a pleasure to play on. A day that will live long in my memory :)"
