Marti Pellow, Scottish lead singer of the legendary pop group 'Wet Wet Wet' recently contacted Pat's management to invite him to record on Marti's new album. It was an exciting day at the studio as Pat recounted: "I was convinced during the week that someone had got the wrong telephone number!! But no, it was my good self they were looking for !! What a thrill and honour to be invited to play on Marti Pellow's new album yesterday in Windmill Lane Studios. The session went fabulously well and we had a lot of fun. An absolute gent to work with and a voice of an angel, truly wonderful musician who is also passionate about the connection and simplicity in music. You can imagine we had lots to share and talk about which we did and have to say one of the nicest people in the buisness. Special thanks to producer Grant Mitchell, Paul Campbell music arranger, Brian Masterson who engineered and all at Windmill Lane who did absolutley everything to make the session a pleasure to play on. A day that will live long in my memory :)"
